PTFE micropowders are finely divided low molecular weight polytetrafluoroethylene powders with average particle size of 3-15 μ M. They are manufactured from high molecular weight PTFE resin using special production methods. PTFE have excellent properties, which include wear characteristics, non-stick and release, electrical insulator, low coefficient of friction, and inert to almost all chemicals and solvents.
PTFE micropowders are added to a great number of other products and compounded to enhance the properties of these products.
